Renting the Glenn Massay Theater

Step One:

To make a reservation request, please fill out the Contact Us form at the bottom of this page.  Be sure to include details about your event, the dates you would like to have your event, and your contact info.  Someone from the theater will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

Step Two:

Once your event and dates have been confirmed by the theater, fill out the Reservation Form (in Downloads below). On the form, please include important set up details and marketing information. It is very important to be sure to read and sign that you agree to the House Rules and Rental Agreement before submitting your paperwork.  You can submit it by scanning and emailing the form to information@glennmassaytheater.com. You will be sent a quote for the event rental once the form is received.


Proof of event insurance must be provided at least two weeks prior to your event. All official UAA events are covered by UAA insurance. Most non-profit and school district organizations already have insurance that may cover an off-site event. If you need to purchase insurance for your event and do not already have a carrier, the University of Alaska offers insurance for events at a University location.  Click the button below to access the UA Insurance site. Step Three:

Event Day! Enjoy your event and let us take care of the technical details. Your technician is here to help with your audiovisual needs and other details.  Once the event is completed, we will send you an invoice for payment, which is due within 30 days.

Rental of equipment and other needs for setup are included on the Reservation Form.
