Spring, metaphorically, is the music of Life; the sounds which surround us. Just listen. Under the direction of Amber Sumner, the Mat-Su Community Chorus has created a concert rich in imagery and tonality, entertaining the intrepid and finicky music lover. “Songs of Nature”, features Antonín Dvořák's lovely Songs Of Nature, depicting the cycle of life through five songs. Included in the program is John Rutter's moving arrangement For The Beauty Of The Earth, The Road Not Taken, from Randall Thompson’s, “Frostiana”, Felix Mendelssohn’s Song Of The Lark and other classics and recognizable favorites that celebrate the awakening world around us.
Tickets are $7.00 at the door — Seniors and Students are free
